次明界形。《善見》、《明了》二論：隨方曲直，任處辨形，不論定指。廣如《大疏》，略說如《義鈔》中。

Next, explaining the shape of the sīmā. The two treatises, the Samantapāsādikā and Vinayavibhāṣā, state: according to the direction, whether curved or straight, determine the shape depending on the location; do not speak of a fixed direction. This is explained extensively in the Great Commentary, and briefly as in the Doctrinal Manual.
