今明治法七種九種。言七法者：一謂訶責，二謂擯出，三者依止，四者遮不至白衣家，五者不見罪，六者不懺罪，七者說欲不障道。加惡馬、默擯二法，則為九也。

Now I explain the seven kinds and nine kinds of disciplinary methods. The seven methods are: first, censure; second, expulsion; third, dependence; fourth, prohibiting visits to lay households; fifth, [suspension for] not seeing an offense; sixth, [suspension for] not repenting an offense; seventh, [suspension for declaring that] sensual desires do not obstruct the Path. Adding the two methods of the wild horse and silent expulsion makes nine.
