二對事離合。但使前是應法之緣，隨為多少，得合受日。如懺僧殘，多罪同法，則文中具銜。應云：今請七日法出界外，為檀越請，并佛事僧事等，還此安居也。

Second, combining and separating matters: As long as the preceding are circumstances that accord with the Dharma, regardless of how many there are, one may combine them to take leave for days. Just as in repenting a saṃghāvaśeṣa where multiple offenses share the same procedure, they are fully enumerated in the text. One should say: 'Now I request the procedure of seven days to go outside the sīmā, for the dānapati's invitation, and for Buddha affairs, saṃgha affairs, and so forth, to return to this varṣā.'
