三懸受者。若所為緣現，牒事為受。必無實事，虛構成緣，或倚傍昔言，彷像未實；輒便乞法，不成，得罪。由事虛限濫，日數妄置，法不相授故。

Third, taking leave in advance: If the circumstance for which one acts is manifest, one states the matter to take leave. If there is no real matter and one fabricates circumstances out of nothing, or relies on former words that are vague and unverified, and promptly begs for the procedure, it is not accomplished and incurs an offense. This is because the matter is false, the limit is confused, the number of days is falsely set, and the procedure is not properly conferred.
