過前受急施衣過後畜戒二十八（是亦二戒合制，不同一衣）。過前五緣：一是急施。律云：本是夏竟衣，為緣開前受；若受便得，不受便失。二知是急施，三過前，四無緣，五受便犯。過後五緣：一二同上緣，三是十日內，四不作淨，五過限便犯。事希法隱，略知大途。餘如《疏本》中廣明時、非時法。

Precept 28: Receiving urgent gift-cloth too early and keeping it past the limit (this also combines two precepts, not concerning the same robe). Receiving too early has five conditions: (1) it is an urgent gift. The Vinaya states: 'It is originally a post-varṣā robe, but due to circumstances, an allowance is made to receive it early; if one receives it, one obtains it; if one does not receive it, one loses it'; (2) one knows it is an urgent gift; (3) it is before the permitted time; (4) there is no special circumstance; (5) receiving it constitutes the offense. Keeping it past the limit has five conditions: (1) and (2) are the same as above; (3) it is within the ten days; (4) one does not perform vicarious relinquishment; (5) exceeding the time limit constitutes the offense. Such affairs are rare and the rules obscure, so the general outline is briefly presented here. For the rest, the season and off-season rules are explained in detail in the Commentary.
