第四方者。觀業相應學處，為行白四等羯磨者。以其法位雖三，此治殘法，事並上品，故齊白四。就中用法，位極有四：謂別住、六夜、本日治、出罪，如前後說之。

Regarding the fourth method: 'Observing the training precepts corresponding to the karma in order to execute karmans such as the one with a motion and three announcements.' Because although its legal stages are three, the procedures for treating residual offenses are all of the superior grade, and therefore all uniformly use a motion and three announcements. Within this, in applying the Dharma, there are at most four stages: namely, parivāsa, six nights, treating according to the original day, and rehabilitation, as explained before and after.
