五加受法（《四分》無文，但言應受持之。今用他部文）。《十誦》云：「大德一心念！我某甲，此鉢多羅應量受，常用故。（三說）」《善見》云：若無人時，得獨受持鉢。文準上。《僧祇》云：若十日內，捨故受新，十日一易（觀其文意，似是獨住比丘法）。

Fifth, the procedure of formal receipt (the *Dharmaguptaka-vinaya* has no text, merely saying that one should receive and hold it; here we use the texts of other schools). The *Daśādhyāya-vinaya* says: 'Venerable One, be mindful with single-mindedness! I, named so-and-so, receive this pātra of responsive measure, for constant use. (Spoken three times.)' The *Samantapāsādikā* says: If there is no one present, one may receive and hold the bowl alone. The text follows the above. The *Mahāsāṃghika-vinaya* says: If within ten days, one relinquishes the old and receives a new one, changing it once every ten days (observing the intention of its text, this seems to be a rule for a solitary-dwelling bhikṣu).
