《僧祇》云：尼凡入僧寺，當在門屋下先白。比丘當籌量，若尼賢善，自又無事，著衣服具者，聽入；反此不聽。比丘入尼寺亦爾。

The *Mahāsāṃghika* states: "Whenever a nun enters a monks' monastery, she should first announce herself under the gatehouse. The bhikṣus should evaluate: if the nun is virtuous, and they themselves are free from business, and she is fully clothed, she is permitted to enter; if contrary to this, she is not permitted." The same applies to a bhikṣu entering a nuns' monastery.
