彼至說戒時，如上僧布薩法，問答已。至明日尼來，如前威儀，告云：「昨夜僧集，具傳所請，無有教誡人，又無能說法者。雖然，上座有勅，語尼眾，當勤行道，謹慎莫放逸！」使尼合掌云：「頂戴受持！」便禮足，辭退。

When it comes to the time of reciting the precepts, having conducted the interrogation and response as in the monks' upoṣadha method above, when the nun arrives the next day with the aforementioned deportment, he informs her: "Last night the saṃgha assembled, and I conveyed what was requested in full. There is no instructor, nor is there anyone capable of explaining the Dharma. Nevertheless, the elder has an order, saying to the community of nuns: 'You must diligently practice the Way, and be cautious and not heedless!'" The messenger nun joins her palms and says: "I receive and uphold this atop my head!" She then pays homage at his feet, takes her leave, and departs.
