Precept thirty: traveling by appointment with a woman. The full transgression is identical to the precept on traveling with a bhikṣuṇī. The Vinaya's origin story arose from an aśaikṣa [arhat], who was nevertheless beaten nearly to death, how much more so an ordinary person! Therefore it says: if traveling within a single village boundary, it is a duṣkṛta. As for non-offenses: not knowing beforehand, or not making an appointment together, needing to go for peace and safety, or on grounds of danger to life or brahmacarya.
