2.261

The fifty-fourth precept: refusing admonition. Five conditions: first, oneself intending to commit an unlawful act; second, another person offering admonition in accordance with the Dharma; third, knowing that what oneself has done is wrong and the other person's admonition is correct; fourth, rejecting the admonition and refusing to accept it; fifth, proceeding to commit the root offense while defying the admonition constitutes a pāyattika. This means that failing to accept the admonition when it is given incurs a duṣkṛta; subsequently committing offenses across the six categories collectively incurs pāyattika. Exceptions: permitted as in the final saṃghāvaśeṣa precept.
