Second, regarding the characteristics constituting a transgression, there are six general conditions complete: first, property having an owner; second, the notion that it has an owner; third, the intention to steal; fourth, an article of substantial value; fifth, undertaking an expedient action; sixth, lifting and moving it from its original place. When these are complete, it constitutes a transgression. Now, relying on the conditions of transgression, they are explained in order. Within the first condition, there are three broad divisions: first, stealing property of the Three Jewels; second, stealing human property; third, stealing property of non-humans and animals.
