後科中，初遮揀。以下，申理有二，上明不合前唱。或下，謂不得輒遣。前云：準律誠文，刪補取中，即此諸文也。

In the later subsection: first it bars and screens. From "Because..." onward, it sets forth two reasons: the first explains that it is improper to chant beforehand; from "Or..." onward means they must not be dismissed arbitrarily. What was said earlier—"conforming to the authentic text of the vinaya, excising and supplementing to achieve moderation"—refers to these texts.
