次科中，初明索欲。餘諸羯磨，通傳欲淨；獨此有異，故須別出。此下，示部別。《僧祇》等律，並不開故。問和中。且約通答，後顯別答。指如上者，即〈羯磨篇〉。

In the next heading, first, clarifying the solicitation of consent (chanda). In all other karmas, conveying consent and purity is common; this alone is different, hence it must be treated separately. From 'this' below, showing differences among schools. Because the Mahāsāṃghika and other Vinayas do not permit it. In inquiring about harmony: first, it is explained in terms of a general response; later, a specific response is revealed. Indicating 'as above' refers to the 'Chapter on Karmavācanā.'
