斥非中，初示非。雙頭者，二五德齊跪。一時者，兩座同說也。律下，引證，初引本律。因非特制。次引《十誦》，上句示法。不下，遮非有四。逆作者，從下至上也。行行者，分頭各取也。超越者，間隔坐次也。總唱者，合眾同聲也。

In reproving errors, it first shows the error. 'Double heads' means the two [monks of] five virtues kneeling together. 'At the same time' means the two seats declaring simultaneously. 'The Vinaya,' below, cites proof: first it cites our Vinaya, where a special prohibition was made due to an error. Next it cites the Daśādhyāya-vinaya, where the upper phrase demonstrates the rite. 'Not,' below, forbids four errors: 'acting in reverse' means going from the junior to the senior; 'row by row' means taking people branch by branch; 'jumping over' means skipping the seating order; 'general chanting' means the whole assembly speaking in unison.
