三問中。律因六群尼來遮比丘，莫為六群作羯磨；及遮自恣，乃至遣式叉沙彌尼白衣來遮；佛竝制不得在此等人前自恣，又因匿王遣兵護僧，諸比丘欲自恣，佛令語使避去等，文如答引。初明遣避。若下，即自避。今世無知，多容士女，擁隘相喧，深乖法制。宜須先遣。

Under the third question: in the Vinaya, because the ṣaḍvargika nuns came to suspend the bhikṣus, saying, "Do not perform karmas for the ṣaḍvargika monks," and suspended pavāraṇā, and even sent śikṣamāṇās, śrāmaṇerīs, and laypersons to suspend it, the Buddha prohibited performing pavāraṇā before such persons in all these cases. Furthermore, when King Prasenajit sent soldiers to protect the Saṅgha and the bhikṣus wished to perform pavāraṇā, the Buddha ordered them to tell the messengers to withdraw, etc., as cited in the answer. First it clarifies sending them away. The text from "if..." onward means withdrawing oneself. Nowadays, the ignorant often tolerate men and women crowding together and making noise, which seriously violates the rules of the Dharma. They ought to be sent away beforehand.
