《四分》。五種滅法，即〈增一〉文。學者深思，彌須弘護。初慢學誤他，二居上作惡，三能教慳法，四所教愚鈍，五彼此鬪諍。倣謂相效。持法即經，摩夷即論。

In the Dharmaguptaka-vinaya: the five kinds of dharmas of extinction are the text from the "Ekottara" [chapter]. Students should reflect on them deeply, and must all the more propagate and protect them. First, arrogance in learning misleads others; second, dwelling above and committing evil; third, being able to teach but being stingy with the Dharma; fourth, those taught being foolish and obtuse; fifth, quarrelling with one another. "Emulating" means imitating one another. "Upholding the Dharma" refers to the sūtras; "mātṛkā" refers to the treatises.
