《涅槃》，出第五〈如來性品〉。彼明或人作如是說，故斥之耳。八不淨名相，如畜寶中。如何下，是佛訶辭。以誣佛謗法，合得現報故。卷字上呼，謂曲轉也。下句指廣，彼云：若有說言，佛大慈故憐愍眾生，皆聽畜者；如是經律，悉是魔說。

In the Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra, it appears in chapter five, "Tathāgatagarbha." That text clarifies that certain people made such statements, hence it refutes them. The names and characteristics of the eight impuritites are as in [the section on] storing up treasures. From "How…" down are the Buddha's words of rebuke. Because falsely accusing the Buddha and slandering the Dharma properly incurs present retribution. The character 卷 (juan) is read in the rising tone, meaning to bend or twist. The lower line indicates the extensive version; that text says: "If there are those who say: 'Because of great compassion the Buddha pities sentient beings and permits all to store them up,' such sūtras and vinayas are all the preaching of Māra."
