轉證中，初文《十誦》。初句即應擯，次句即賊住，本下二句即邊罪。並及餘難，故云等也。若先下，是今正據。

In the passage of secondary citations, the first passage is from the Daśādhyāya-vinaya. The first phrase refers to those who should be expelled; the next phrase refers to those dwelling as thieves; the two phrases under 'fundamental' refer to those who have committed borderline offenses. These and the remaining unordainable conditions are what 'and so forth' refers to. The passage beginning 'If previously...' is the primary basis for the present position.
