Under jñaptidvitīyā: there are fifty-seven types in all. Like assigning and establishing boundaries, the matters are not uniform, hence it is said that they "intermingle." Looking toward the former, they are weighty; facing the latter, they are still light. Those requested and obtained from the saṃgha are seven (two cells make two, separating from robes, six-year bedding, keeping a group, receiving extra days, staff, and carrying bag). Legal transactions instituted by the saṃgha are eleven (testing non-Buddhists, madness/idiocy and its dissolution, not going to families of learning and its dissolution, dividing saṃgha property, rewarding nursing the sick, dividing a deceased person's property, assigning the kathina robe, and the two procedures of providing a room to monastics and laypeople for repair). Assignments are fourteen (dividing bedding, declaring grave offenses, sending one with five virtues to instruct nuns, guarding the storehouse, guarding the kathina robe, repenting to a layperson, distributor of salākā, managing cells, announcing the overturned bowl, distributing gruel and food, seeking instruction among nuns, going to pravāraṇā, sending a messenger to confer ordination). Establishing and dissolving boundaries are nineteen (the great boundary and its dissolution, two identical boundaries, one identical boundary, three minor boundaries and their three dissolutions, the ordination hall and its dissolution, holding robes and its dissolution, the pure site and its dissolution, the ordination platform, establishing identity of food, establishing storehouse). Repentance and discipline are six (returning robes on the twenty-seventh, protecting bowls, giving the overturned bowl and its dissolution, and performing non-obeisance to the saṃgha among nuns and its dissolution).
