總結中，初正結眾法。約法止三，隨事多別，故云就緣。若下，兼結別法。應知三位八品，從法而論；百八十四，隨事彰數。準此別法，應有五十；然前止有四十七，心念四，對首三十三；兼尼二法，則四十九；疑此且舉全數，來學尋之。

Under the summary conclusion: first, directly concluding the saṃgha transactions. Restricted by legal procedure, there are only three; following matters, they have many distinctions, hence it is said "according to conditions." From "if" downward, it additionally concludes the distinct transactions. It should be known that the three statuses and eight grades are discussed in terms of legal procedure; the one hundred eighty-four manifest numbers according to matters. In accordance with this, distinct transactions should be fifty; however, earlier there were only forty-seven: four of mental determination, thirty-three of face-to-face; including the two procedures for nuns, there are forty-nine; it is suspected that here it merely brings up a round number, which future students should investigate.
