Under 'Showing the Number of Li': first citing the text on poṣadha in the Dharmaguptaka[-vinaya]. 'Sharing the poṣadha' refers to the boundary of ritual identity. 'Not receiving consent' means that consent given the previous night is invalid. 'A good hundred li' establishes the journey based on a day, and since it cannot be pinpointed definitively, it says 'a good [hundred li]'. This serves as the groundwork for the later reconciliation. Next, in the Mother Commentary (Vinayamātṛkā), it is named the 'dharma corresponding to daytime', hence it says 'a round trip in one day'. Based on this, it is even narrower than the Dharmaguptaka[-vinaya]. (The old interpretation took it as identical to the Vinaya, going in one day and returning in one day, which is incorrect.) From 'Although...' onward, both are concluded together. The 'hundred li' stated above is merely an inferred equivalence.
