內唱中，初出彼唱。便下，推過，初總示。如下，別釋為三，初釋別眾。以與欲出界，失法成別。若下，次釋破夏。依界者，對無界依藍，則無此過。言下，三釋離衣。以自然護衣，亦無此過，故約作法衣界明之。故下，結示。

In [the section on] chanting within [the boundary]: first, [the text] presents their chanting. From "then..." onward, it deduces the fault; first, it points it out in general terms. From "such as..." onward, it explains it separately in three parts: first, it explains the division of the Saṃgha. Because conferring chanda outside the boundary forfeits the legal act, this constitutes a division of the Saṃgha. From "if..." onward, it next explains the rupture of the rains retreat. As for "relying on a boundary," by contrast with relying on a vihāra where there is no boundary, there is no such fault. As for "the words...", third, it explains separation from robes. Because a natural boundary protects the robes, there is also no such fault; thus it is explained in terms of a consecrated boundary for robes. From "therefore..." onward, it concludes and indicates [the point].
