蘭若中。今時立相，標物相遠，中無倚附；遙指暗唱，頗符此責。自負謂負罪，即非法吉羅。違教雖輕，結業彌重，即如下云自陷陷人是也。

In [the section on] the araṇya: Nowadays, when markers are established, the demarcating objects are far apart and there is no intermediate support between them; to point from afar and chant blindly conforms quite well to this censure. "To bear by oneself" means bearing guilt, namely an unlawful duṣkṛta. Although transgression against the prohibition is minor, the maturation of karma is all the heavier, which is precisely what is called below "bringing ruin upon oneself and ruining others."
