引教斥中。《了論》水波一丈五尺，謂標石相去，非謂長短高下也。並下，正斥，初通舉兩損。脫下，別舉受戒釋成。損中尤甚故。上二句釋陷他。自下二句明自陷。故下，引證令信，極勵存心。

In [the section] citing the teaching to reprimand [them]: The "water wave of fifteen feet" in the Vinayadvāviṃśatividyā-śāstra refers to the distance between the marker stones, not to their length, width, height, or depth. From "and..." onward, it directly reprimands them; first, it mentions both kinds of harm in general. From "if..." onward, it specifically adduces the reception of the precepts to explain and establish it, because among harms it is especially severe. The upper two lines explain ruining others. The lower two lines from "oneself..." clarify bringing ruin upon oneself. From "therefore..." onward, it cites evidence to inspire faith, strongly urging vigilance of mind.
