《涅槃》中。種種示相者，彼第三云：毀謗正法，及一闡提，或有殺生乃至邪見，及故犯禁等。於毀下，明立治意。七羯磨同下制教。當知下，彰利益。若善下，勅依行。

In the Nirvāṇa [Sūtra]. Regarding "showing various marks", its third fascicle says: "Slandering the True Dharma, being an icchantika, or killing living beings up to having wrong views, and intentionally transgressing the prohibitions," and so on. Under "towards slandering...", it clarifies the intention of establishing punishment. The seven karmas are the same as the regulative teachings below. In "one should know...", it reveals the benefits. In "if a good...", it commands them to act accordingly.
