次科。初明入眾五法者，一修慈愍物，二謙下自卑，三如鈔引，四說於法語，五見過修默。《十誦》下，初明起坐。次明入堂，初運想法。次下，出入法。文明東西舉足，且據堂門面南為言；以要示之，但使出入先舉門頰邊脚，則通餘處，不必東西也。若欲下，示坐法。

In the next section: first, explaining the five dharmas of entering the assembly: first, cultivate compassion and pity for beings; second, humble oneself in modesty; third, as cited in the manual; fourth, speak Dharma words; fifth, seeing faults, maintain silence. "*Daśādhyāya-vinaya*..." first clarifies rising and sitting. Next, explaining entering the hall: first, the method of mental visualization; "Next..." onward, the method of entering and exiting. The text clarifies lifting the feet to the east and west, which tentatively assumes the hall door faces south; to state the essentials, as long as entering and exiting begins by lifting the foot on the side of the doorpost, it applies to other places as well, not necessarily east or west. "If desiring..." demonstrates the method of sitting.
