諫違制中，初泛勸。引《地持》者，明雖是人制，佛令護之，故不可違。今下，二正陳。觀他自省，故云鑑戒。略陳方軌，餘任臨時，故示云云。

Under "Admonishing Against Violating Prohibitions", it first offers general exhortation. Citing the *Bodhisattvabhūmi* clarifies that although it is a human prohibition, the Buddha commanded that it be guarded, and thus it cannot be violated. "Now..." onward is the second [part], directly stating [the matter]. Observing others leads to self-reflection, hence it says "taking warning [from an exemplar]". It briefly presents the basic outline and leaves the rest to be handled as the occasion warrants; hence it indicates "and so forth".
