第三羯磨。重提心量，益令勇進。救生護法，括束上品，盡此二句。時逼心切，不宜枝蔓；囑令直依，意在於此。加法竟時，剎那思滿，戒業成就，此處合辨無作體相。然是眾行，正出受儀。識體攝修，宗歸中卷。廣文如後，故此不論。

The third karmavācanā: again lifting the mental capacity, further causing them to advance courageously. Saving sentient beings and protecting the Dharma summarize the highest grade, fully contained in these two phrases. The moment is urgent and the mind is pressing, so there should be no rambling; enjoining them to rely directly on it has its purpose here. When the enactment of the rite is finished, the thought-moment is fulfilled, and the precept-karma is accomplished. At this point, the characteristics of the non-manifesting essence should be discerned. However, these are community practices, strictly presenting the ritual of reception. Discerning the essence and subsuming practice fundamentally belong to the middle fascicle. The extensive text appears later, so it is not discussed here.
