次明依止，開不依中，本宗六人。初開頭陀。次三開緣礙。後二開行成，上限五夏，下通未滿。

Next is the clarification of dependence (niśraya). Among the exceptions where dependence is not required, our school has six types of persons: the first allows dhūtas; the next three allow obstructive conditions; the last two allow those whose practice is accomplished, with the upper limit being five summers, and the lower extending to those who have not completed them.
