五十四。（佛在拘睒毘，闡陀欲犯戒，比丘諫言莫作，不從他諫，即犯諸罪，故制。）

Fifty-four. (When the Buddha was in Kauśāmbī, Chanda wanted to violate a precept; a bhikṣu admonished him saying, "Do not do it," but he did not follow the other's admonition and promptly committed various offenses; hence it was prohibited.)
