2.1301

不犯中，初二句通標。彼下，別列。還對前六事以明開相。初至時生，開第一也。若實無下，即第二也。若實年下，合明三四也。注決重受，先須究勘。今時受者，年多不滿；十師愚教，不能提誨；下檀已後，輒同僧事，冐受信施，真可怜愍；若實犯下，即第五也。又下，即第六也。上六並謂心懷慈濟。餘戲錯等皆非惱意，故並開之。

In the non-offenses: the first two lines generally indicate [them]. From "that..." onward, they are listed individually, corresponding to the previous six matters to clarify the marks of exemption. First, "reaching the time of birth" exempts the first. From "if truly without..." onward is the second. From "if the true age..." onward combines the clarification of the third and fourth. The note decides that regarding re-reception, one must first investigate and examine. Those receiving [the precepts] at the present time often have insufficient years; the ten masters are ignorant in their instructions and unable to guide and teach them; after descending from the altar, [the candidates] rashly join in saṃgha affairs and recklessly receive the offerings of donors—truly pitiable! From "if truly committing..." onward is the fifth. From "further..." onward is the sixth. The above six all mean harboring a mind of compassionate succor. The rest, such as jesting and error, are not intentions to vex; therefore, all are exempt.
