七十六。（佛在舍衛，六群恐舉；六人相隨，無由得作；後時作衣，僧喚受欲，即與比丘作舉羯磨；後六群言我以彼事與欲，佛呵因制。）

Seventy-six. (The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. The group of six feared being censured; because the six accompanied one another, there was no way to perform it. Later, when robes were being made, the Saṅgha called them to receive their consent, and then performed a censure karma against the bhikṣus. Later, the group of six said, "I gave my consent for that other matter." The Buddha scolded them and thereupon instituted the precept.)
