八十七。（佛在舍衛，聽諸比丘作尼師壇，六群太作故制。）

[Pāyattika] 87. (The Buddha was in Śrāvastī. He permitted the bhikṣus to make sitting cloths (niṣīdana); because the group of six made them too large, he laid down the prohibition.)
