第二科中。前但通立，次申所以。理趣既顯，引據復明；所立已定，即須顯示二種名義；故以解名，寄之於後。

Under the second section: Previously, [the author] merely established them generally; next, he sets forth the rationale. Once the underlying principle is revealed, citations of evidence are made clear again. The establishment being settled, one must immediately display the names and meanings of the two kinds; hence, explaining the names is appended afterwards.
