In the next section, under directly clarifying, there are three parts. First, clarifying preparatory stages also has two: first, individually citing the six clusters. The first two classes only have remote preparatory stages; the subsequent classes have both remote and near preparatory stages. Here it is spoken provisionally regarding the remote ones, hence all say "giving rise to the thought". In the text, the upper character "body" (身) is an error in copying, and should be the character "mind" (心). "Regardless of, etc." generally indicates the marks of violation. Based on applying generally to both intentional and mistaken violations, but because in the past remote preparatory offenses were routinely subject to self-reproach, the text solely clarifies that intentional minds must face another person. If one follows the Vinayadvāviṃśatividyā-śāstra, remote offenses are subject to self-reproach; though there is an origin, it is not used here. From "if..." onward, second, clarifying isolated offenses; this can be understood. From "various..." onward, third, summarily concluding the two repentances. Preparatory and isolated are referred to as "various kinds."
