第二過中。若爾者，躡上增減義。則下，指過。以戒受捨，竝假因緣；今自增減，正乖戒義。

In the second fault: 'If so' takes up the above meaning of increase and decrease. From 'Then' downward, he points out the fault. Because the reception and relinquishment of precepts both depend on causes and conditions; now that they would increase and decrease on their own directly contradicts the meaning of precepts.
