四明瞻待，初文為三，前引制。亦下，定物。初點文通漫。準下，例決。律中，沓婆為僧知事，僧以十方現前所得衣賞之。《十誦》下，顯意。此人，即上知法等。

Fourth, explaining provision and care: the first text has three parts. First, it cites the prohibition. 'Also,' and so forth, determines the property. First, it points out that the text is broad and lax. 'Based on,' and so forth, decides by analogy. In the Vinaya, when Dabba served as the administrator for the Saṃgha, the Saṃgha rewarded him with robes obtained by the present [Saṃgha] from the ten directions. 'The Daśādhyāya-vinaya,' and so forth, reveals the meaning. 'This person' is the one who understands the Dharma, as mentioned above.
