《十誦》中。自偷身無犯者，疏云：弟子體是正報故強，賊得力用弱故。師奪重者，弟子屬賊是強，師是弱故。今引此文，但取下犯，以證不可奪耳。

In the Daśādhyāya-vinaya: regarding 'if one steals oneself, there is no offense for the person,' the Commentary states: 'The disciple's body is direct retribution, and hence is strong; the thief's acquired control and utility are weak.' For 'if the master seizes it, it is grave': 'Because the disciple belongs to the thief, they are strong; the master is weak.' Now citing this text only takes the lower offense to prove that it may not be seized.
