第四《十誦》中，初明施與。制不從乞，開取自與。西天可爾，此土國禁；必有取者，雖佛教無違，而世刑可慮。若下，次明買得。

In the fourth, from the Daśādhyāya-vinaya: first, it clarifies giving. It prohibits begging from them, but allows taking what they give of their own accord. This might be so in India, but in this land it is prohibited by the state; if anyone takes it, though there is no violation of the Buddha's teaching, secular punishment is to be feared. 'If,' and so forth, next clarifies obtaining by purchase.
