次科，初示總數。分下，明離合，前約事明離。因財故貪，違教故慢。若下，據罪明合。

In the next section, first the total number is indicated. Under "Dividing...", the separation and combination are explained: the former explains their separation in terms of the underlying matter. Because of wealth there is greed; because of disobeying instruction there is arrogance. Under "If...", their combination is based on the [nature of the] offense.
