In the detailed explanation, contamination obstacle has two parts: first, citing the conditions for prohibition. "Ordering the exclusion of villages" is what is recited in the karma for establishing the robe-boundary. The five meanings come from the *Sarvāstivāda Vinaya Vibhāṣā*; the text omits the first and third: the first is that villages are scattered and indefinite, while the robe-boundary is definite; the third is to eliminate quarrels. From "Namely" down, it next explains the intent of the prohibition. Female inclinations are lustful and licentious, while the sangha is fundamentally pure and chaste, hence it says "in conflict"; *wu* (忤) means to oppose. Even if one does not commit wrongdoing, it also gives rise to suspicion and slander, hence it says "suspicious traces." From "The Buddha" down, it generally cites the various precepts, analogously revealing the present prohibition. Spending the night and walking each have one; sitting encompasses screened and open places and the two aniyatas; dwelling together is precisely the exclusion of villages. From "If" down, it concludes by showing the name and marks.
