八中，《善見》。不得捉穀，捉即貯畜。除米者，如上所開。此歸第三。器仗殺害之具，故須壞之。樂器逸蕩之物，猶可出賣。《增一》。寶施，復是第六。呪願還他，意表受故。已前列物，出沒不定。隨文辨相，各攝所歸，則無濫矣。

Regarding the eighth: the Sudarśanavibhāṣā states that one may not take hold of grain; taking hold means storing and keeping it. "Except for rice" is as excepted above; this belongs to the third item. Weapons are instruments of slaughter, so they must be destroyed. Musical instruments are objects of indulgence, yet they may still be sold. In the Ekottarāgama: offerings of jewels also belong to the sixth item. Blessing and returning them to the donor is intended to symbolize receipt. The items enumerated previously appear and disappear without fixed order; by identifying their marks according to the text and assigning each to its proper category, there will be no confusion.
