會相違中，初指《十輪》。如〈僧網〉云：乃至畜妻挾子，恭敬如舍利弗，不聽責罰等。又下，決破。《涅槃》了義，廢前不了，故云不用。以下出廢所以。《涅槃》護法事重，《十輪》為存俗信，故云小小。

In reconciling the contradictions: First, it refers to the Daśacakra-sūtra. As the chapter on the 'Monastic Network' says: Even if one keeps a wife and embraces children, one must still be revered like Śāriputra, and no reproaches or punishments are permitted, and so forth. Next, it decisively refutes this. The definitive meaning (nītārtha) of the Nirvāṇa-sūtra supersedes the earlier non-definitive [teachings]; hence it says 'not to be used'. Below, it explains the reason for this supersession: In the Nirvāṇa-sūtra, protecting the Dharma is a grave matter; whereas the Daśacakra-sūtra was intended to preserve the faith of laypeople, hence it is called 'minor'.
