示心中，初文又二，前示心相。如下，次列犯事。別舉諸戒，臨文自對。高談費時者，律制。行來俯仰，常爾一心，違皆犯吉故。方，大也。上明不學制犯。唯下，簡勤學開迷。

In [the section] explaining mental states, the first passage again has two parts: first, showing the mental characteristics; then, from "such as..." onward, listing the offenses committed. The various precepts are specifically cited, to be matched directly as one comes to the text. Regarding "wasting time in lofty talk": this is a vinaya prohibition. Because in walking, staying, bending down, and looking up one should constantly be single-minded, violating this constitutes a duṣkṛta. "Fang" means great. The above clarifies committing offenses due to failure to study the prohibitions. From "only..." onward, it distinguishes those who study diligently, making exceptions for bewilderment.
