2.941

三中，律文前明說犯。疏云：所以不列偷蘭名者，猶含輕重。（重者犯提，輕則犯吉。）若列蘭名，謂輕亦提，避濫不出也。又下，次明指人。衣服房舍，即示所說之人服篩住處。

In the third, the Vinaya text first clarifies speaking of offenses. The Commentary states: "The reason the name sthūlāccaya is not listed is that it still encompasses both grave and light. (The grave incurs a pāyattika, while the light incurs a duṣkṛta.) If the name sthūlāccaya were listed, people would think the light also incurs a pāyattika, so it is omitted to avoid confusion." From "Moreover..." onward, it next clarifies pointing to the person. Robes and dwellings indicate the clothing and residence of the person spoken of.
