The three types of dānapati-pure: first, the food is another's property, and the place is one's own possession. That is, a donor leaves food stored within the monastic boundary, offering it to the sangha according to need. 'Food utensils' are precisely the food items. Second, the place is another's property, and the food utensils are one's own possession. This is self-evident from the text. Third, both belong to the other. That is when today an assembly is hosted in a layperson's house to offer food to the sangha.
