Under 'Revealing by contrast': 'Overnight storage within' contrasts with place. In three places, there is an offense. Among persons, three persons only refers to fully ordained monks; knowing about it entails an offense, while not knowing does not. The cited text below shows this, which is clear. Carried by dogs and blown by the wind both mean that the food is within the great boundary. The character 'vinaya' is an error, and should be 'the Buddha said'. In food there are three: first, it explains that once off the ground, whether grown or severed is not considered. Second, while not yet off the ground, one must distinguish grown and severed. For example, with fruits and vegetables, as long as the life-portion is not terminated, none constitute overnight storage within. Third, distinguishing the four medicines. Only lifetime medicines are prohibited; for the other three medicines, committing an offense is universal.
