次科，《母論》二節，初明洗物，因制洗身。乃至乞食下次制自持，仍示緣起。

In the next section, the *Mātṛkā* has two passages. First, it clarifies washing objects, and on that basis prohibits washing the body. From "Up to begging for food" onward, it next regulates holding it oneself, also indicating the origin.
