次科。指僧衣者，名同相別，恐相濫故。準僧蘭若，無難五里，有難五十八步四尺八寸；如〈集僧篇〉，護衣蘭若七十餘步，如離衣戒。

In the next section, pointing to the saṃgha's robes is because their names are the same but their marks are distinct, and there was fear of confusing them. According to the saṃgha araṇya, when there is no danger it is five li, and when there is danger it is fifty-eight paces, four chi, and eight cun; as in the chapter 'Assembling the Saṃgha', the araṇya for guarding robes is seventy-odd paces, as in the precept on being separated from robes.
